Use of Formbase does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Formbase Technologies Inc. or any of its employees or contractors. Formbase is a document self-help tool, not a law firm.
2. Self-Help Tool
Formbase provides document self-help services. All documents are generated at the direction of the user. The user is responsible for reviewing all generated documents and determining their suitability for their specific situation.
3. Not Legal or Tax Advice
Documents generated by Formbase are not legal or tax advice. The information provided through the platform, including the AI compliance chat, is general information about Canadian corporate practice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice.
4. Limitation of Liability
Formbase Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from reliance on documents generated through the platform without independent professional review. You use Formbase at your own risk and are solely responsible for any consequences of using generated documents.
5. Accuracy Disclaimer
While Formbase strives to ensure documents follow current Canadian corporate practice, laws and regulations change. Formbase does not guarantee the legal validity or regulatory compliance of any generated document. Always review generated documents with a qualified Canadian lawyer or accountant.
6. Jurisdictional Scope
Formbase is designed for Canadian corporations governed by federal or provincial corporate statutes. Documents may not be suitable for corporations in Quebec without modification due to Quebec's civil law system.
7. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide to Formbase. You acknowledge that you have been advised to review all generated documents with a qualified professional before signing or relying on them.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of Formbase is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Formbase, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.
9. Account Cancellation
Your corporate documents will remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation. Download anything you need before then. Formbase does not retain copies of your documents after your account is deleted.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
